Meet the Founder
Mrs. Augustina Nkem Amadi
Mrs. Augustina Nkem Amadi is an experienced educator and visionary leader with over two decades of teaching experience across Nursery and Primary education. Her career spans classroom teaching and school administration, including serving as a Head Teacher on two occasions, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to child development.
She holds a National Diploma (ND) in Education/Chemistry from Ondo State University (1990), an OND in Business Studies from Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro (1996), and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos (2000). She further advanced her expertise with a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Lagos State University (2004).
Mrs. Amadi’s journey into founding Helpmate Private Academy was inspired by her lifelong passion for teaching and her deep love for children. Although the vision to establish a school began as far back as 1997, it came to life in 2022 after years of dedication, encouragement, and admiration from parents, colleagues, and friends.
Her mission is clear—to help every child overcome learning challenges and achieve academic excellence, regardless of their individual abilities. She is particularly passionate about supporting children with learning difficulties, ensuring they receive the attention, patience, and guidance they need to succeed.
At the heart of her philosophy is a strong commitment to trust, which she believes is the foundation of every meaningful relationship—between parents, teachers, stakeholders, and the children themselves.
Through Helpmate Private Academy, Mrs. Amadi continues to shape young minds, inspire confidence, and build a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
